Creating the vault objects

After the Meridian Transmittal Management Module has been set up as described in Setting up the Transmittal Management Module, several vault objects must be created for use by the module. These include:

• Transmittal and submittal document types: To uniquely identify transmittals and submittals among the other document types in a vault.
• Transmittal and submittal templates (optional): Predefined briefcases in your choice of archive formats to contain transmission and submission documents.
• Transmittal sheet report definitions (optional): Predefined Meridian Enterprise reports that can be used to automatically generate transmittal sheets included within transmittals and submittals.
